A midsummer night with Eine Kleine Nachtmusik
On this beautiful summer evening, our Club held a dinner concert on the rooftop garden of the Korean Stone Art Museum, surrounded by Bugaksan Mountain and the Seoul City Wall,
overlooking the expansive and brilliant night view of Seoul.
It was the Club’s first large, unrestricted gathering since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, and attracted the highest attendance ever (110+) for a Club event.
At the dinner, we welcomed three classes of College “freshmen” – Classes of ’26, ’25 and ’24 – since the latter 2 Classes never received a proper welcome from the Club in the summers of 2020 and 2021 because of the pandemic.
This summer also saw a large number of visiting students and alumni studying or working in Korea for the summer.
The highlight was the post-dinner entertainment by Whim ’n Rhythm,
Yale’s all-senior a cappella group, who were starting its Asian tour from Seoul. It was a truly enchanting summer night with Eine Kleine Nachtmusik!
